Pints for Polio

Saco Bay Rotary is joining forces with a locally-owned brewery to raise funds for Rotary International's efforts to eradicate polio from the planet.

Along with Funky Bow Brewery, the club is sponsoring a Pints for Polio fellowship event on Friday, October 15, from 5-8 p.m.

Rotarians from Saco Bay Rotary will be at the brewery on Friday to promote this issue, and they ask for your support and help.

"The venue is great, and we hope a lot of people will be able to join us for food, fun, and the fellowship," said Jeff Slaton, the Fellowship Chair for Saco bay Rotary.

Then, as almost an afterthought, he added, "the beer's pretty good too."

Funky Bow Brewery, located at 21 Ledgewood Lane, Lyman, is a family-friendly, pet-friendly, outdoor venue.  There are many activities (cornhole, pickleball, disc golf, etc.) and several food options available for those who attend.  Be sure to bring your family, friends, dogs, and lawn chairs, and parking is available at the event.
