District Grant for the Dyer Library

Leslie Rounds from the Dyer Library in Saco Maine was in attendance at our July 21 Meeting with our President, Jeff Slaton and District Governor Marge Baker as it was announced that we have received a District Grant for the Dyer Library.
The Grant will be used to make an outdoor story area for the children. The area will have a fence around it with 10 benches and a little house. The anticipated completion time will be in the Spring of 2017.
The goal of the project is to improve childhood literacy education by getting kids interested in reading outside of a normal library room.
